The estimated costs for the 2024-2025 academic year as an international student at DVC are as follows:
- $10,512 - Tuition and fees based on 12 units/semester (estimate based on 24 units ($438/unit), for the academic year)
- $11,700 - Food and housing (based on homestay)
- $1,854 - Books and other educational expenses
- $1,238 - Transportation
- $3,030 - Miscellaneous and personal
- $1,815.48 - Mandatory medical insurance*
- $30,150 - Total estimated cost for academic year**
* Medical insurance cost of $1,815.48 is for 2024-2025. 2025-2026 costs will be known in April 2025.
** Tuition is subject to change. The bank statement must show total cost for academic year amount or more. Actual costs of attendance will vary by student based on total amount of units enrolled each semester.

Please come to the DVC Cashier's Office located in the Student Services building near Admissions and Records. Bring your student ID card for verification.
The Cashier's Office accepts:
- Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit cards only.
- Check, money order, or cashier's check, drawn on a U.S. bank payable to Diablo Valley College.
The Cashier's Office accepts payment in U.S. dollars only.
