Career Education Programs

Looking to upskill to advance in your current career or train for a new one? Explore DVC career education programs to find out more!

What Is Career Education?

Career Education encompasses educational programs focused on skilled trades, applied arts and sciences, and cutting-edge technologies. These programs are tailored to enhance job skills and boost career marketability.

Students can choose from short-term certificates and/or two-year degree programs to create the educational path that leads to employment or transferring to a university.

Each career education program is guided by experienced faculty, supported by an advisory board comprised of industry professionals. This ensures that students are trained with curriculum, equipment, and facilities applicable to related job opportunities in the region.

Students engage in work-based learning opportunities on-campus, as well as have access to internships and jobs made possible through industry partnerships cultivated and nurtured by DVC's faculty.
