Apply for the California Dream Act

If you are an undocumented student who qualifies for AB540 and wish to be considered for financial aid, please complete the California Dream Act Application.

Important information for Dreamers

  • The information on your California Dream Act Application will be used to determine your eligibility for state funded financial aid.
  • Undocumented students are not eligible for federally funded financial aid.
  • The California Dream Act is available beginning October 1 each year for the upcoming academic year (starting in the fall).
  • Undocumented students who wish to apply for the Cal Grant must apply by March 2 every year.

All financial aid students are required to check their DVC student email account through InSite on a regular basis in order to receive notifications, file status updates, announcements, and further instructions from the Financial Aid Office.
