Food Services on Campus

Food Court - Main Street Bistro

DVC Food Court Located on the ground floor of our HSF building, the Main Street Bistro is open for breakfast and lunch, serving entrees and providing hot and cold food as well as a variety of beverages. Vending machines are also located in the food court and are available during the hours the college is open.

Crow's Nest

Located between the Physical and Life Science Buildings, the Crow's Nest is a popular gathering place for students to study, relax, and socialize. With picnic tables, benches and a lawn area, the Crow's nest is especially popular with the weather is nice.

DVC Pastry Shop

DVC Pastry Shop Located on the second floor of our brand new HSF Building. The pastry shop offers fresh baked breads, pastries, breakfast items, and desserts prepared daily from scratch by culinary arts students. Special orders are available upon request (call 925-969-4300 or 925-969-2333).

Express Bar

Located on the second floor of our brand new HSF Building. The HSF is next door to the SSC and is accessible via the walkway on the 2nd floor of the SSC, as well as via the ground floor and second floor HSF entrances. It is adjacent to the Norseman Restaurant and the Pastry Shop and is operated by culinary arts students. The Express Bar offers students, faculty and the community casual meals such as pasta, and special daily entrees at affordable prices. Serving weekly specialty menus. Catering services are also provided by the Culinary Arts Department.

Norseman Restaurant

Norseman Restaurant Located on the second floor of our brand new HSF Building. It is adjacent to the Express Bar and the Pastry Shop. Operated by culinary art students, the restaurant treats students, faculty and the community to fine dining at affordable prices. This semester, walk-ins are welcome but we are limited in seating capacity.

Catering services are also provided by the Culinary Arts Department.

On-Campus Catering

DVC Catering DVC's Culinary Arts program offers a wide variety of food and beverage choices for your campus event needs.

Catering for groups, custom banquets and buffets are offered by the culinary arts students. On-campus catering is offered during spring and fall terms. For more information email Squire Davidson at sdavidson@dvc.edu.

Please note: If an event requires serving of alcohol, the special event request form must be submitted to the Culinary Arts Department or the catering coordinator six weeks prior to the date of the event.
