Carrie Million was born and raised in the Bay Area. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Spanish from UC Davis, followed by a Single Subject Teaching Credential form Sacramento State University. While teaching high school history and geography, she returned to Sacramento State University to complete a Master of Arts in Special Education.
Upon completing her MA, she worked as a Learning Disabilities Specialist for Sacramento State University. After moving back to the Bay Area, she worked as a Learning Disabilities Specialist at College of San Mateo and Diablo Valley College before being hired as full-time Assistive Technology Faculty at Diablo Valley College in 2009. She has also taught in the Special Education department at DVC since 2015.
She enjoys visiting national and state parks and historical sites and reading biographies.
