Binita Sinha has been a faculty at Diablo Valley College since August 2000. She is also the program lead for GIS-GPS (Geographic Information systems- Global Positioning System) career education program, and Geography program at DVC.
She is interested in the application of geospatial technology as a tool for teaching, research, and institutional planning. As part of community outreach, Binita Sinha collaborated with area high-school faculty on integration of geospatial education into existing curriculum.
Prior to joining DVC, she was an assistant professor at Missouri Southern State University, Joplin, MO, and an adjunct faculty at Santa Clara University, CA.
