DVC is excited to offer a telehealth program for students called TimelyCare. This FREE service provides access to 24/7 medical and mental telehealth care with TimelyCare. Get on-demand support from counselors, doctors, nurse practitioners, and more, right at your fingertips!
TimelyCare offers FREE 24/7 medical and mental telehealth services for all current students as part of the DVC Health Services program. This service is funded collaboratively by Associated Students of Diablo Valley College and the college.
The TimelyCare telehealth service is available for currently enrolled DVC students and their dependent children 18 years old and under. If you have a dependent child in high school over 18, please contact TimelyCare.
When you're feeling sick or overwhelmed, you can talk to a licensed provider from your smartphone or any web-enabled device for free. Medical providers can diagnose common conditions (such as a cold, flu, or sinus infection) and the TalkNow service gives students a safe space to talk (for example, about anxiety surrounding COVID-19, relationship issues, or depression). Scheduled counseling offers up to twelve 45-minute sessions individually or with a dependent or significant other. The newest offering is Psychiatry services.

Licensed providers are available to diagnose non-emergent medical conditions, prescribe medications and offer mental health support via phone or secure video visits.
No, you have unlimited TimelyCare visits as long as you are an enrolled student at DVC.
Yes, student privacy is followed as outlined in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA"). TimelyMD privacy statement.
Our technology was built to be accessible anywhere in the world that has a stable internet connection. If you are outside of the U.S. in a country without internet restrictions, you may be able to access TalkNow (immediate emotional support) by using a U.S.-based VPN or US-based phone number. TalkNow is the only service that may be available internationally.
