An Associate Degree for Transfer is a two-year associate degree that is fully transferable to California State University (CSU) campuses, as well as many Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), private colleges, and select fully online universities.
Benefits
- An Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) guarantees admission into the CSU system as well as other participating partner institutions.
- By following the plan for your selected ADT degree, you'll be able to choose the classes you need, enabling you to save both time and cost.
- Students who transfer with an ADT degree to a similar CSU program are guaranteed to be able to complete their bachelor's degree within 60 semester or 90 quarter units. Learn more at ICanGoToCollege.com.
-
When you earn an Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T) or an Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T), you'll be guaranteed priority admission to a California State University (CSU) campus if you meet CSU's minimum eligibility requirements. It is important to note that you won't necessarily be guaranteed admission to a particular campus or major.
-
Earning an Associate Degree for Transfer also ensures you'll be able to transfer to one of many participating partner institutions, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), private colleges that are members of the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities (AICCU), and select fully online universities.
Note that if you are applying to one of these partner institutions, you are guaranteed admission into the specific campus you applied to as well as the major you have chosen.
