OU Campus and Web Contributor Training

Web Contributor training at DVC consists of the following elements:

Online training on Canvas (approximately 1 hour)
- Intro to the OU Campus interface
- Editing content with JustEdit
- Setting reminders
- Workflow
- Web Style Guide overview
- Accessibility overview
Hands-on project: Update your own small website (approximately 2 hours)
- For this project, you will be set up with a small website, and you will be required to:
  - identify existing problems and fix them. These will cover:
    - accessibility issues
    - style guide issues
    - spelling errors
    - layout issues
  - follow instructions provided to add various page elements to the site, including:
    - tables
    - images
    - links
    - lists
    - headings
Classroom review
- The classroom session will be an opportunity to get help on the hands-on portion of the training, and ask any questions you might have about anything OU Campus/web-related.
