Voter Registration Information

Diablo Valley College encourages eligible students to register to vote. Students who wish to register may visit California Online Voter Registration.  Visit the voter registration kiosk computer in the Library or Student Union Building Computer Lab.

Sign up! Let’s be ready to vote - plan ahead! VOTE EARLY!

• First-time voter? Register to vote through California Online Voter Registration.
• Changed: Name, Address, or Party? You must re-register! 
• Active voter? Be sure! Check your status. 
• Age 16 or 17? Pre-Register.
• Watch a video about pre-registration. 

Important Dates:

• National Voter Registration Day September 17, 2024
• National Voter Education Week October 7-11, 2024
• Vote Early Day October 29, 2024
• Election Hero Day November 4, 2024
• Online or postmarked voter registration
  • or you can conditionally register and vote at your county elections office after the 15-day voter registration deadline
  • mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before November 5, 2024 and received by your county elections office no later than November 12, 2024.
• November 5, 2024, 7 am to 8 pm - Presidential Primary Election
