In addition to being the only community college in Northern California with an industrial design associate in science degree, DVC is the host school of the Bay Area Design Challenge.
This exclusive competition is sponsored by Autodesk and enables students to work with companies like BOSE, CamelBak, Toyota, Nissan, Oru Kayak, and Italia Limar.

As an industrial design major, you’ll learn the foundations of product design, plus have access to our ultramodern CNC laboratory, digital Wacom tablets, 3D CAD modeling software, 3D printers, and laser cutters.
