Meet the Student Life Staff

Fall and spring services and ID cards are offered M-Th, 9-5 pm and Friday 9-1 pm. The Food Pantry summer operational hours are Wednesdays 10:00-3:00 pm in the Student Union Building, first floor.

	Renee Savage, she/her Program Coordinator rsavage@dvc.edu On leave	Renee is the Advisor for the Inter Club Council and supports the clubs program. She is passionate about helping students reach their educational and personal goals and strives to create a fun, open, and productive environment conducive to leadership development and growth. Renee has been working in Student Services at DVC for 14 years and most recently served as Coordinator and Advisor in the International Student Office. She has a Master’s Degree in Leadership from Saint Mary’s College of CA and Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from San Francisco State University. Renee also attended DVC during her educational journey and it was her positive experience as a student that inspired her to pursue a career here.
	Frances, he/him/they/them Interim Program Assistant - Food Pantry	Frances is currently pursuing a Library Technology Associates at DVC, with the further goal of becoming a librarian. They are excited to work with the Food Pantry and Student Life Office to help fellow students.
	Waez, he/him Student Worker	Waez Sufi is an international student pursuing his associate degree majoring in computer science. Currently working here at the Student Union as a video editor and social media developer. I believe that we can work together as a team and help each other with achieving the goal we set.
	Emily, she/they Student Worker	Emily is currently pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Psychology to transfer to a CSU. Ultimately Emily wants to pursue a career as a School Social Worker. They are ready to lend a helping hand to whoever needs it here at the Student Union and to ensure that each student knows what great things we have to offer.
	Chimere, she/her Student Worker	Chimere is pursuing a Degree in Art and Digital Media in hopes of transferring to a UC or CSU. Chimere’s goal for her future is to pursue a career in 3D animating and rigging. With this, she is available at the front desk to help anyone in need. Chimere is focused on supporting a safe school environment for all students no matter who they are.
	Aziz, he/him Student Worker	Aziz is pursuing Business Management studies to transfer and earn his Bachelor's Degree. His home country is Afghanistan with 14 years in the US. Aziz also served in the United States military.
