Please join us in congratulating DVC's speech and debate team for winning the Northern California Forensics Association (NCFA) championship! DVC's team of more than 40 students defeated competitors from universities and community colleges across the Northern California region.

"DVC's speech and debate team has become the most dominant team in Northern California. Multiple alumni across the team's illustrious history came out to support the team, offering words of wisdom as the students headed into competition."

Two Diablo Valley College alumni have been making waves in the world of speech and debate, showcasing the skills they honed at the community college on the national stage.

Brenna Seiersen and Tristan Keene, both former co-captains of the Diablo Valley College speech and debate team, swept the competition and secured two national championship titles at the National Parliamentary Debate Association National Championship and the National Parliamentary Tournament of Excellence this spring.
