DVC Classified Senate President Jocelyn Iannucci has been elected to serve on the California Community Colleges Classified Senate (4CS) Board of Directors as the Bay Area 1 Representative. 4CS (www.ccccs.org) is an organization that advocates, supports, and educates community colleges in matters of “shared governance” as defined by the California Education Code.

“4CS goes out to colleges that are struggling with governance issues,” says Iannucci. “When they visited DVC recently to assist us, I decided that I wanted to give back and become more involved with their programs. To be active and involved on a statewide level is an honor.”

Iannucci is also beaming since 4CS also recognized the DVC Classified Senate website with a second place award in the Statewide Classified Senate Website competition -KUDOS!!!
