November 18, 2011 – Update

As shared earlier this month, the CC is working with the Budget Committee (BC) and the Integration Council (IC) to implement the untested college planning and resource allocation processes for the first time.

Summary of DVC's Resource Allocation Process

DVC's resource allocation process specifies that the CC make a recommendation to the College President for resource allocation based on recommendations from the BC for overall allocations and from the IC for prioritization of allocations and specific recommendations for funding based on information from the program review process.

The following is the calendar according to which the committees involved have set their goal to accomplish this task in order to have a recommendation to the College President by the end of January 2012.

The college community is always welcome to attend meetings and is invited to participate in the process through their representatives.
