In his lecture Dr. Ponce excavates the constitutive nature of race, law, and violence and its development in producing the racialized disposability and coloniality of migrants & Black, indigenous and people of color in the US racial capitalist state. Resisting Racial Violence articulates how these historical and contemporary processes play out in the courts and in the streets building the possibilities for a decolonial future. This movement towards decolonizing race is a call for a full humanity and the abolition of white supremacy.
