The Academic Proctoring and Placement Center is designed to be used by students who
miss an exam due to unforeseen circumstances like an illness, family emergency, or
school event.
Note: Faculty and students on the San Ramon campus, please visit SRC Academic Proctoring for information about how to submit tests and schedule appointments. Students with
accommodations for a disability should contact Disability Support Services for instructions on how to set up your exam.
Testing Information
Student Instructions
All students must have an appointment to make up a test.
Once we receive the test from your instructor, a link will be emailed to you with
appointment information.
You must bring a physical photo ID (driver's license, passport, ID card). We do not
honor a photo of your ID.
Online tests are not permitted. Students are not allowed to use any electronic devices,
including computers.
We will contact your student (via email) to make an appointment once we receive your
test submission.
If you submit a test after 5pm, your student will be contacted the following business
day.
For any changes needed (extension of deadline, additional information, etc.) please
email proctoringandplacement@dvc.edu.
We use an appointment system so that we have room and staffing for those using the
center. Please do not send your students to drop in on any basis.
Last day for any Spring 2024 proctoring needs for students and faculty is Wednesday,
May 22th. This includes returning exams to faculty. Proctoring will resume at the
beginning of the Summer 6-week session on Monday, June 10th.
*Every effort is made to maintain these hours. Occasionally there may be variations
due to staffing issues. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
