Course/program assessment PDFs

Assessment PDFs are documents that have the complete assessment histories for each DVC course and degree/certificate program. They are built using the records stored in WebSLOs. They are stored on the password-protected "U drive". They are accessible from on- or off-campus.

Using a PC on campus
Find the PDFs using My Computer or Windows Explorer, like this: navigate to the U drive folder named Committees, then Faculty Senate Student Services, then SLOCommittee, and then to either the Course Assessments subfolder or the Program Assessments subfolder. You are not currently using the DVC network, so this method will not work for you a this time. But read further, because there are other methods that will work.

Using a Mac on campus
In Finder, choose "Connect to Server..." from the "Go" menu, and enter this for the "Server Address:" smb://10.23.2.33/s-drive$. Navigate to U-Drive/Committees/Faculty Senate Student Services/SLOCommittee/Course Assessments for the course assessment histories, or to U-Drive/Committees/Faculty Senate Student Services/SLOCommittee/Program Assessments for the degree/certificate program assessment histories. You are not currently using the DVC network, so this method will not work for you a this time. But read further, because there are other methods that will work.

Using either a PC or Mac from any location on the Internet
Launch your favorite browser -- Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, or whatever you like. Go to this URL: ipt.dvc.edu. You will probably see a security challenge of some kind -- choose to continue, and not to stop or quit. You will then see a login screen -- enter your DVC email credentials. Then you should see a main screen, with a "Newest U drive" link.

Navigate to the folder named Committees, then to its subfolder named Faculty Senate Student Services, and then to its subfolder named SLOCommittee, and then to either the Course Assessments subfolder or the Program Assessments subfolder. This method works on the computer that you are currently using.
