Students will learn to analyze computers and networks for vulnerabilities and to preserve information for forensic investigation. Students will learn about laws pertaining to computer and network forensic investigation and perform case studies on cyber attack investigations. This course contributes to the preparation for the following certifications: AccessData Certified ExaminerT credential, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP), Security+, and Microsoft Security Certification.
