Note: TB clearance required for any laboratory work. Participation in Developmental Children's Center Laboratory School or approved off-campus mentor site from 3 to 6 hours per week is required for 2 or 3 units. One unit: lecture only. Two units: lecture plus three laboratory hours per week. Three units: lecture plus six laboratory hours per week. Required of parents whose children are enrolled in Developmental Children's Center.
This topics course examines community connections that support the development of young children and contemporary family life. Community resources for child health and safety as well as physical, social-emotional and cognitive development are explored. One unit: lecture only. Two units: lecture plus three laoratory hours. Three units: lecture plus six laboratory hours. Required of parents whose children are enrolled in the Developmental Children's Center. CSU
