| This course is for the development of skills needed to play jazz. Skills addressed include intonation, rhythmic accuracy, tone, dynamic control, style specific articulation, phrasing, and expression, sight-reading, improvisation and practicing. Skills are developed in an ensemble setting. A variety of styles will be studied, including Medium Swing, Latin and Fusion. Public performance is included.
