Note: Culinary and food service students must have a current record of satisfactory tuberculosis (TB) screening on file with the Culinary (CULN) office by the beginning of classes. Students are required to supply their own equipment and uniforms depending on the class. See instructor at the first class meeting.
The Summer Culinary Camp will offer students an overview of current and emerging career opportunities, a review of the basic kitchen skills required in the culinary industry, industry site visits, resume building and career exploration, hands-on practice through the preparation of healthy foods and the integration of sustainable practices as they relate to the Hospitality Industry through teamwork.
