| This course focuses on relief methods of printmaking, which has the longest history in both Western and Eastern printmaking history. Students with basic printmaking knowledge such as linocut and woodcut will further explore the possibility of the media through advanced color wood block and letter press printing to their image. Various media will be introduced including multi-plate woodblock/linocut, reduction wood block/linocut, wood engraving, and typeface/polymer plate. Various printing methods will be introduced including hand printing, etching press, and letter press. CSU | ||
