This course is a study of the major theories, methods and concepts of modern psychology. The orientation of the course is the scientific study of behavior and mental processes, and covers such areas as: the history and systems of psychology, the biological foundations of behavior, perception, states of consciousness, learning, memory, motivation, emotion, human development, personality, stress and health, abnormal psychology, therapies, social psychology, research findings, and applied psychology.
