| This course introduces students to the basic principles and methods of tutoring, including but not limited to the tutoring sequence, the Socratic method of questioning, communication skills, and learning theory. Students will receive instruction on how to work with tutees who have difficulties comprehending reading, developing writing and utilizing study skills with the intent of making those tutees independent learners.
