Humanities and Philosophy - faculty

Stacey Zupan has been a part-time Humanities instructor at DVC since 2008. She has also taught at San Francisco State University and San Ramon College. She earned an M.A. in Humanities from San Francisco State University and was awarded the ‘Distinguished Academic Achievement Award’ for her Master’s thesis. Her graduate work focused on U.S.-Cuban relations, cultural productions through the visual arts and human rights. Her classes often focus on U.S. culture from a multicultural perspective, critical thinking and discovering artistic voices that are often unheard and defiant to dominant narratives.
