EOPS Services

The following services are available to eligible students free of cost:


  • Professional counseling (academic, career, personal)
  • Peer advising


Direct financial assistance

  • EOPS study-time grants for parent students (budget permitting)
  • Work-study assignments (budget permitting)
  • Book vouchers


Note: Book vouchers and grants are awarded based on available funding.

Instructional support services

  • "Student success" workshops (varies by semester, refer to our Calendar of Events page for more information)
  • One-to-one tutoring (up to 2 hours per week/per subject)

STEP 3: Please check your DVC InSite Portal Email account regularly to check the status of your request. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the processing of your request.

  • CSU/UC admission application fee waivers
  • Assistance with applications and financial aid forms

  • Scholarship for transfer students
