Articulation conference
English Articulation Day - April 25th, 2012

8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

We are pleased that you are planning to attend DVC's High School English Articulation Conference, an event intended for area high school English, ESL, drama, and journalism teachers.  The day starts at 8:30 for coffee, snacks, conversations, and welcomes.  Two sessions (9:30 and 11 a.m.) of workshops (scroll down for titles) will be followed by a lunch supplied by our renowned Culinary Arts Program.

After lunch there will be a performance by San Francisco's "Word For Word," who are planning on performing a short story by Siobhan Fallon from her book, "You Know When the Men Are Gone."  We will conclude with final remarks around 3 p.m.

We hope you can attend with other members of your department, though each person must register separately.  Thanks to the College and the DVC Foundation, all events are free of charge.
When you register, you will receive an email confirmation of your registration along with instructions about parking.

Contact Laury Fischer at or Tom Barber ( for more information or questions. We look forward to seeing you here in April.
