Apple device support

After CS faculty member, Robert Burns, configures your device, you'll be able to get to your DVC email and the Web Curriculum System (WCS) on your Apple mobile device or computer from anywhere on the Internet. You can also get to the U drive as a folder in Finder on your Apple computer.

Email on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer
Go to your Mail app, and find DVC Email.

WCS on your iPhone or iPad
Go to your Settings app, and turn on the VPN. Log in with your network/email password. If successful, you'll see the letters VPN along the top edge of your display. Then in Safari (or just about any browser app), go to wcs.dvc.edu.

WCS on your Mac computer
Click the icon. Log in with your network/email password. If successful, you'll see a running timer along the top edge of your display, to the right of the icon. Then in your favorite browser, go to wcs.dvc.edu.

U drive on your Mac computer
Click the icon. Log in with your network/email password. If successful, you'll see a running timer along the top edge of your display, to the right of the icon. Then in Finder 's Go menu, choose the "Connect to Server..." option. Enter this Server Address: smb://10.23.2.33/s-drive$ and click Connect. You may have to log in with your DVC network/email password, if it's not saved in your keychain.


Faculty and staff can make an appointment with Robert to get their devices configured. Available times are 8:30am MTWTh, 1pm MW, and 6pm MW, in his office, FO-227.
