ESL Test:
The ESL (English as a Second Language) Assessment is for students with whom English is not their first language and who are looking to take ESL classes. The tests consists of two sections; Language Use and Reading Skills.

20 multiple choice questions on each section (40 questions total)
Time Limit:
1.5 hours
Re-test policy:
The ESL test may be taken twice district wide

Results will determine the appropriate course placement in the following classes:
ESL 067 - Introduction to College English Skills
ESL 076/78 - Intermediate Reading and Comprehension & Writing Skills
ESL 086/88 - High Intermediate Reading and Comprehension & Writing Skills
ESL 096A/98A - Introduction to College Reading, Writing & Study Skills
