Robert Abele

Dr. Robert Abele received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Marquette University, with a specialty in political philosophy. He also has a masters degree in Theology. He is the author of three books, two of them forthcoming in the fall: A User's Guide to the USA PATRIOT Act; The Anatomy of a Deception: A Logical and Ethical Analysis of the Decision to Invade Iraq; and Democracy Today: Three-minute Meditations on the State of Democracy in America. Dr. Abele also presents weekly radio essays on philosophy and contemporary issues on KVMR-FM in Nevada City, California, and KZFR in Chico, California. He enjoys discussing philosophical issues with students and colleagues alike, and is delighted to be a participating member of the Diablo Valley College community.
