APARTMENT/TOWNHOUSE INFORMATION

Diablo Valley College does not recommend these apartments over others in the area, but rather is providing this information as a resource to assist students in making choices about housing.  Please remember, that you need to check prices and other information at the time you call for your own personal reference.  All apartments listed are examples of available apartments in the area.  There are other apartments in the general area.  You will also be required to pay deposits to the utility companies when you hook up utilities for apartments.

NORTHRIDGE APARTMENTS

Studio : $1,100 per month; $500 deposit
(nice room with kitchen and bathroom)
1x1 : $1,165 - 1250 per month; $500 deposit
(one bedroom, one bathroom)
2x1 : $1,410 - $1,600 per month; $600 deposit
(two bedroom, one bathroom)

Requirements:
  • Positive rental, employment and credit histories; no credit is not considered bad credit.
  • Monthly income must be three times the monthly rent; in the event that income is not from employment, a bank statement verifying at least six months of rent in the account will be acceptable.
  • In the event that an applicant has no social security number and no rental history, an additional security deposit will be required. If an applicant has no social security number, a passport number or visa number will be required.
  • International students must provide proof they are full time students in order to pay the regular deposit.  This can be done by bringing the I-20 or passport to the rental office.

2 bedroom, 1 bathroom $1,375, monthly; $1,200 Deposit
2 bedroom, 2 bathroom $1,395, monthly; $1,200 Deposit
2 bedroom with den $1,550 monthly; $1,200 Deposit
All apartments are unfurnished.
  • All utilities must be connected by student.
  • Rent includes: water and garbage, all other utilities must be paid by tenant.
  • Refrigerator, stove and dishwasher included also.
  • If students are unemployed, deposit runs 2 times equal rent amount. If students are employed, deposit runs 3 times equal rent amount.
  • No credit history $200 extra deposit.
  • $30.00 credit check / application fee.
  • Must complete application and provide passport for picture I.D.
