Discover Community Education

DVC is thrilled to bring enriching opportunities to the central Contra Costa County community through our Community Education program. Our non-credit classes are designed for fun, growth, and personal development, catering to learners of all ages and interests. Register easily online, in person, or by phone and start your learning journey today.

You do not need to be a credit student at the college. Classes offered through Community Education are not funded with tax dollars. Your enrollment fees help sustain this valuable program.

College for Kids Summer Program

For over 35 years, our College for Kids summer camp has inspired young minds entering grades 4 through 9. This engaging program offers classes in science, writing, computer technology, engineering, math, performing arts, and beyond, offering a fun and educational experience for youth across Contra Costa County.

Refund Policy

If you can’t make a class, we've got you covered. Cancel at least 7 days before the start of class for a full refund, minus a 2.5% credit card processing fee. No refunds are available if you are a no-show or cancel after the class has begun.

Classes cancelled by DVC Community Education will be fully refunded.

Foster & Kinship Care Education 

Foster & Kinship Care Education is dedicated to supporting caregivers of foster, adoptive, and relative children, ensuring they have the resources needed to address the educational, emotional, and developmental needs of the children in their care.
