How to read the abbreviations

1  Grade code

P = pass at least satisfactory or a C grade; units not counted in GPA

NP = no pass less than satisfactory; units not counted in GPA.

LR = only letter grades will be assigned.

SC = student choice, either pass/no pass or a letter grade will be assigned. You must decide what you want before the sixth week of the term. In short courses you must decide before 30 percent of the course is over.

2  Term length = dates of term length courses

3  Section number = 4-digit number used for online registration.

4  Prerequisite = must meet posted requirements to enroll in course

5  Recommendation = course is recommended but not required

6  Course notes = information specific to the course
